About Me
I work to create an individual and integrated approach to therapy that combines psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive behavioural therapy as well as mindfulness and awareness. Creating a personal solution for each client in a non-judgemental and supportive environment is critical to me.
Helping guide you towards answers is what I care about and all of my professional skill is focused on seeking to resolve the issues you are facing. I’m a guide on your journey and what’s important to me is assisting you in an empathetic and non-judgemental way that recognises the uniqueness of your circumstances.
I am experienced in treating depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma/ PTSD, grief and loss, life changes, sexuality, LGBTQ+ issues, stress, panic disorder and improving confidence. My training was in America and I have a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology with more than 15 years experience.
I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP) and have worked in various settings including the NHS, higher education, and private practice. I understand our multicultural environment having practiced in a number of countries. I am also a registered member of the National Counselling Association as well as the BACP.
