American Expat Counselling

About me

Being in practice for 12 years, I have had the opportunity to help guide individuals along their pathways in their journeys.  It has been a privilege to work with such a diverse range of people on both sides of the Atlantic.

Having been raised in America and lived in England and Spain, I find myself in a unique position of being able to offer American expats help in adjusting to the culture and expectations of living in another country.

What I offer

I am an American expat therapist who has been living abroad since 2006. I work with many American clients and their trailing spouses. I have the experience and empathy to help you if you are struggling to live abroad.

As an experienced counsellor both online and face-to-face, I am able to provide a unique counselling experience tailored for each of my clients.  Using an integrative approach to each session, I am able to provide a truly bespoke service targeted to each person’s specific needs.

With a broad range of specialties, including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma/PTSD, and the like, I am able to create a personal solution for each client in a non-judgemental and supportive environment.

Finding the right therapist is an important and personal step. I offer a free 15 minute phone conversation with you to introduce myself and hear your story.
